Although I am an American now living in New Zealand I also have a strong connection to the Korean community. As a student of meditation and Buddhism for many years my teacher is a Korean monk. Since 2006 we have been working on building a Buddhist community and meditation centre in the Far North. There is a link on this site to Pannarama NZ and if you are interested to learn more check that out. The Pannarama International Group has a temple near Gimhae, South Korea that I have spent a fair bit of time living at while teaching in Korea and through that have been fortunate to gain many wonderful friends. Although based in New Zealand I still travel to South Korea for a few months every year to participate in Summer and Winter camps for students. These camps focus on English and meditation and although they are lots of hard work for students and teachers, they are also tremendous fun as well. I hope this explains a bit more about me and my unique relationship with Korea.

I Can Help!
I provide editing, proofreading and writing services of all types: job resumes, cover letters, college entrance essays or research papers, articles, manuscripts, immigration documents, etc. I also offer critique and suggestions, so that you learn how to write better on your own. I am patient, professional, accurate, and thorough. In most instances I have a quick turnaround time; depending on your needs and the project’s content, turnaround can be within 24 hours.
I am available via the internet and telephone. My rates are reasonable and negotiable but I generally charge by the hour. I feel this is fair since you pay for my time rather than by each word or page. For further information regarding rates, etc. please email me.

Come stay in the wonderful Far North of New Zealand to experience English in a whole new way. I provide private homestay English tutoring that really makes a difference in your conversation skills. Each morning we work one-on-one for 3 hours and then in the afternoon we have activities such as surfing, hiking, gardening, cooking, fishing, sailing, etc. that help you learn by doing. Each night you have some homework to complete for the next day’s lesson.
On weekends, there are many day trip options from your homestay – swimming with dolphins, visiting Cape Reinga & 90 Mile Beach, surfing lessons at Taupo Bay, game fishing in the Cavelli Islands and much more. Have fun and learn by doing!
